The rapid response assessment "Living Planet: Connected Planet. Preventing the End of the World's Wildlife Migrations through Ecological Networks" was produced by Grid-Arendahl and the UNEP/CMS Secretariat, and was published at the 10th Conference of the CMS Parties in November 2011 in Bergen, Norway. The Lesser White-fronted Goose is featured as one of the flagship species used to highlight the difficulties facing migratory birds. The publication (15mb) is available for download on the Grid-Arendahl website. For more information on receiving printed copies, please contact the Working Group Coordinator.

Awareness-raising is one of the key activities linked to the implementation of the Single Species Action Plan for the Lesser White-fronted Goose. The UNEP/AEWA Secretariat - together with the many Lesser White-fronted Goose partner organizations - is striving to develop general materials which can be translated and distributed in the different range states.

The UNEP/AEWA Secretariat has a limited number of printed Single Species Action Plans for the Conservation of the Lesser White-fronted Goose available in both English and Russian, as well as stickers featuring the species. For more information, please contact the Working Group Coordinator.
